Florida's Future Wildlife
Preserving Florida's Wildlife for a Better Tomorrow
Florida is one of the most biologically diverse states in the U.S., but its native species and ecosystems are disappearing at an alarming rate. Wetlands are shrinking, coastal habitats are eroding, invasive species are spreading, and iconic animals like the Florida panther are under constant threat.
Florida’s Future Wildlife (FFW) exists to bring together residents, and concerned citizens who want to protect Florida’s native wildlife and natural habitats. This is your hub for discussion, advocacy, and action, whether it’s restoring wetlands, managing invasive species, or raising awareness about climate impacts on local ecosystems.
Who are We?
FFW was made by a concerned Florida resident who wants to bring more awareness to the ecological issues that Florida is having. The idea is to create a hub where all of the discussions surrounding Florida's wildlife can be in one place. So if someone is interested in the issue they have a way to easily connect within a community of concerned citizens or just people who have knowledge on the issue.
Primary Issues
Some of the pressing issues that we discuss include:
- Habitat destruction from urban development
- Invasive species like Burmese pythons and exotic plants
- Water pollution, runoff, and wetland degradation
- Climate change impacts, including sea-level rise and coral bleaching
- Fragmentation of natural habitats

Join Florida’s Future Wildlife
Every species lost weakens Florida’s ecosystems, and our communities eventually feel it, too. Whether you’re a biologist, student, landowner, hobbyist, or simply someone who loves Florida’s wild places, FFW is your platform to share ideas, launch campaigns, and take meaningful action. The question isn’t if change is happening, it’s whether we protect Florida’s wildlife before it’s too late.
