Where has the Human Decency Gone?

Because at the end of the day even though they are doing something morally wrong, 2 wrongs do not make a right. Using the argument "They don't care so why should we" is inherently silly. Certain people prioritize different things but as a first world nation we shouldn't compromise morality just because it's easier.
