Ethical Profits?

Cheaper is always better, at the end of the day people are going to purchase whatever is cheaper no matter if it is sourced from USA or Canada in your case vs Bangladesh. If local businesses cut profit margins then the bigger overseas manufacturers are just going to cut their profit margins slightly in order to out compete the local market. And since they have a higher profit margin and lower operating costs they can easily lower the price of their product much more than a locally made brand. No matter what they will have the upper hand unless we limit the import of goods from those countries.
