I agree, most Canadians won't notice the erosion of our freedoms until its too late.Exactly. My concern is that once powers like this exist, they tend to grow quietly. Future governments might push for broader powers, and most Canadians won’t notice until it’s too late. Even limited access sets a precedent.
I have a privacy phone from ABOVEI’d really like to hear more from privacy experts. If they conclude this law could enable mass surveillance or normalize easy access to personal data, that’s a warning everyone should take seriously.

Mass surveillance has been happening for years. The laws being passed are just making what has been done illegally in the past legal, and then pushing it from there.
