Canadian Job Market

Many young people want to go to University and college and they need to find jobs to help pay for all of their upcoming expenses. It is extremely difficult for these students to find employment and the cost of higher education keeps going up and up. A student's year could cost more than $20,00.00 for housing, meal plans, tuition, books, etc. depending on their situation. Many families cannot afford to cover these costs with everything else in our world increasing in price. Some financial supports for students have decreased lately especially in Ontario. Unfortunately higher education seems to be becoming only for the wealthy.
That is what I don't understand, taxes are supposed to be used to fund thing to help OUR COUNTRY, why are we sending all of our money to foreign countries. The issue that I find is that a country either can have low taxes and as such not have government subsidized education but in Canada we pay an outrageous amount of tax and somehow we STILL don't have federally subsidized education. Why are we so backwards as a country.
