WR: City Centre MP speaks to floor crossings

I have great respect for Kelly DeRidder for her courage and honesty and her commitment to those people who voted for her. Canadians did not vote for a majority Liberal government and yet that is what we have not by voting but apparently by backroom deals using fear, threats and flattery to encourage MPs to cross the floor. Somehow this seems wrong to me and it certainly does not reflect the will of the people. Is this an example of democracy in Canada? Our democracy is worth protecting and this is definetly not the way to go about it. We need an open, transparent government that has the will and needs of the Canadian people put first and foremost as their agenda.
