Prime Minister Carney has just removed the policy that appointees nominated to Canada's Senate NEED NOT be NON- PARTISAN. Were the the people we elected to be Liberal members of parliament part of this decision?
The Senate was created to be the "house of sober second thought" and now can no longer fulfill this function because of the conflict of interest it creates with the potential that known Liberal supporters could be appointed to the Senate.
It appears that the Liberal Government decision making process consists of the Prime Minister making decisions that will digitally monitor and control our every move and concentrate decision making to take on a non-democracy communist like view of what we the people did not agree to.
Recent legislation has undermined our democracy, rights and freedoms. We must stand up, speak out and let our elected people know that this government is in an overreach mode and must reset by listening to the people that elected them and what they want and will accept.
Our MPs and MPPs seem to have lost their way as being in government to represent we the people that elected them. Canada and Ontario are in financial trouble they should be spending MORE TIME IN SESSION NOT LESS to
collectively deal with our issues and problems and advise our leaders of their constituents dissatisfaction with how little they impact serious decisions that are being made.
