Because although the liberals have been in power in Canada for a while now the economic state of the world has vastly shifted in that time period and inflation has gotten out of hand IN EVERY COUNTRY not just in Canada.

Food prices in Canada have risen because of LIBERAL carbon pricing. Carbon pricing adds a percentage to every aspect of farming and transportation with each getting hit multiple times with the same carbon tax before the food comes to market.
