This is an article from the Ontario Landowners Asociation. This is a timely article with what happened recently in Wilmot Township and with the new high speed rail line going from Toronto to Montreal.
"Did you know that, as a private landowner, your land use rights, ownership and market values of your land and real estate are being methodically stripped away bit by bit through various layers of policies, laws, strategies and legislation from all levels of Government? We are sure that you will agree that it is unacceptable that various levels of Government and the numerous departments within have endorsed and encouraged assignment of certain designations on privately owned property, without prior review, notice or fair compensation."
