A little off topic, but I always found it interesting how Carney went from the bank of England to Canadian politics. He went from uninvolved to Leader of the Liberal party in only 5 years. Always found that something to keep in the back of your mind.

This is something more people should be paying attention to. Infrastructure projects always sound good on the surface, but when you look at how they’re implemented, especially with fast-tracked powers over private land, it raises serious concerns about where the line gets drawn.

The connection between Carney and Trudeau is definitely interesting. It gives the impression that even though leadership changes, a lot of the same policies and directions are continuing behind the scenes without much change in approach.

Its actually really funny when you look at the statistics, Carney is doing worse for Canada than Trudeau was, but the media keeps portraying him in a positive light. People are still blindly following the public media world without doing their own research and it is holding Canada back.

I’m not against high-speed rail at all, but it should be done in a way that respects people’s rights. If the government can override private property too easily, that sets a precedent that could extend beyond just this project.

At the end of the day, it comes down to transparency and trust. If this is truly in the public’s best interest, then there should be open discussion, clear communication, and fair treatment for anyone affected, not just pushing it through quickly.

I am very concerned with the new NDP leader's view on radical socialism that Carney will get his majority. There will be no stopping him.

Can't believe we're still getting his bills going through in 2026.
 
Despite ALL of the serious public opposition the Canadian Senate moved swiftly to give royal ascent to Carney's Bill C-15.

It seems that our Globalist led questionable Canadian government is focused on creating and putting into law legislation that controls all aspects of what used to be citizen freedoms such as freedom of speech, freedom to participate in the religion of our religion, freedom to travel - the list goes on. Just take a look at the last few bills - all have serious implications based on their interests in tracking, tracing & controlling our actions to address their desire to minimize our ability to practice what used to be a functioning democracy.
