Day 3 of "Are Farmers Safe in Canada" opened with Lee Turner who is the legal expert on the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency). He was asked by the Ostrich farm owners to help them legally during the culling order of their flock.

Angel Godsoe lives in South Central Ontario. The farm consists of riding instruction, hay and 200 acres of beef. She is the mother of 12 children through a blended family with her partner. She talks about food processing plants that have disappeared in her area. She also got involved locally with politics and explains how laws are being ignored.

Teresa Walker came to Canada from England during the foot & mouth outbreak in 2001. Her family continued to be farmers upon arriving in Canada, She explains the differences between England and Canada's protocols during an outbreak and how compensation packages are very different.

Alexandra Wright has lived in Colona since 2014. Before this, she lived in the U.S. with her husband. She had been practising law. When they returned to Canada they produced apples, cherries and vegetables on their land. Because of her law background, her talk discusses that shifts of control that government has done over the past number of years.

John is a director for the NCI. His career has him being a hands on farmer, an advocate for farmers and a livestock nutrition consultant. His presentation goes through the documentation on the Canadian governments website regarding the plans for the future of farming and the food that the government wants consumers to eat. He explains the history of how the plan from the WHO (World Health Organization) regarding "One Health" will be implemented and its consequences.
