Hello everyone,
I'm writing tonight with a quick request for you. I have been trying to get something lined up so that Ward 7 voters can hear from all three candidates. So many people are telling me at the doors that they don't vote because they don't feel like they know what they are voting for. I have tried reaching out to the Forest Heights Community Association to request an all-candidates debate, but haven't heard back after almost a week.
Meanwhile, Hannah Marie with KW Headshots has started a series called Tea with Hannah Marie, where she invites all the candidates in certain Waterloo Region races to come in for a candid interview. She's already covered the Kitchener mayoral and Regional Councillor races, and is considering covering certain Kitchener wards.
I reached out to her today to request that Ward 7 be included, and she responded to me very quickly. She's told me that to help her decide which Kitchener wards to include, she's going to look to see which races have been requested the most on her website.
That's where you come in: if you'd like to help your Ward 7 neighbours hear from all three of us candidates through professionally-done interviews, please go to Hannah Marie's website at this link, click "Get Notified", select Kitchener Ward 7, and fill in your information. And tell your friends and neighbours to do the same!
