I want to write an article and I need examples of political bias in mainstream news articles and examples of how people can prevent this/ filter out the bias in order to get real news. And also what sites people use to avoid said bias

One of the biggest ways bias shows up is right in the headlines. For example, some outlets use emotional language like “hysteria” or “reckless” to describe the same event in different ways , like climate news being framed as “Climate Change Hysteria” vs a more neutral “UN warns of climate risks.” That choice of words shapes how you feel before reading even one sentence. Headlines like that are a classic form of bias by framing and labeling.

If you want more neutral intel, I always read beyond the headline first.

Recently, the BBC faced accusations of editorial bias after internal documents leaked, claiming some coverage (including a Panorama episode on the U.S. Jan 6 attack) was misleading or slanted. This even led to high‑level resignations at the BBC and political push back.

I totally agree, similarly, CNN’s election coverage has been criticized for allegedly downplaying negative stories about certain candidates, while other critics argue that climate change reporting is too alarmist or less balanced on solutions
