Yeah like even if you don’t fully buy into all the claims, there’s enough there to at least question things
I still think people should be careful about jumping to conclusions based on journalists and sources though. not everything reported ends up being 100% accurate

Fair but at the same time, if multiple things line up and courts are already involved, it’s not just random rumors anymore
 
Very interesting, and CBC can sometimes be good as long as you try and look at the article objectively and without bias. Usually meaning you have to filter out some of their choice words.

Loving the conversation around this though.
Yeah you do have to filter out some of the words, it is really interesting how some things can be worded to make a narrative seem more extreme vs less extreme when reporting on the same issue.
 
I get what you're saying, but I think people forget how chaotic that situation actually was. like it wasn’t just a peaceful protest at all times. the government probably felt they had to act quickly
I was there. It was the most amazing event I had ever been to....singing, dancing, food, speakers, dogs, babies, families. I only experienced joy
